چکیده
A common-mode voltage (CMV) suppression strategy, namely double zero-sequence injection (DZICMV), is proposed in this paper for an asymmetrical six-phase induction motor fed by two-level dual three-phase source inverters (VSIs). In the sinusoidal waveforms injected signals are employed as modulation signals, and two opposite triangular used carriers. The fundamental period divided into 24 sectors. each sector, carrier medium amplitude phase distinct from carriers other phases set of windings. Using method, zero vectors (000) (111) windings can be eliminated, peak values sub-CMV total CMV reduced ±Udc/2 to ±Udc/6. experiment results show that root mean square (RMS) value leakage current DZICMV 51.83% compared with PWM (DZIPWM) strategy. It also found four existing benchmark strategies therein nearly all ±Udc/2, only low linear region could one these suppress However, ±Udc/6 whole range. Moreover, maximum index 1.15, which larger than strategies, whose 1.

Active Common-Mode Voltage Cancellation for Three-phase PWM Rectifierfinverter Systems based on a New Topology
After giving a summary of investigated passive and active schemes to mitigate common mode problems a modeling approach for the common mode voltage (CM voltage) is presented for three-level rectifiers. A novel Active Commonmode Voltage Cancellation (ACC) scheme is proposed, utilizing the reconstructed CM voltage to derive a simpler driving scheme as presented by previous contributions. The ACC s...
متن کاملZero Phase Sequence Voltage Injection for the Alternate Arm Converter
The Alternate Arm Converter (AAC) is a voltage source converter being developed as an alternative to the Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC) for HVDC power transmission and reactive power compensation. Each Arm of the converter contains high voltage series IGBT Director Switches and full-bridge cells, which enables the VSC to ride through AC and DC network faults. This paper describes how the AA...

This paper presents an algorithm for adaptive determination of the dead timeduring transient arcing faults and blocking automatic reclosing during permanent faults onoverhead transmission lines. The discrimination between transient and permanent faults ismade by the zero sequence voltage measured at the relay point. If the fault is recognised asan arcing one, then the third harmonic of the zero...
متن کاملSpace Vector Pulse Width Modulation with Reduced Common Mode Voltage and Current Losses for Six-Phase Induction Motor Drive with Three-Level Inverter
Common-mode voltage (CMV) generated by the inverter causes motor bearing failures in multiphase drives. On the other hand, presence of undesired z-component currents in six-phase induction machine (SPIM) leads to extra current losses and have to be considered in pulse width modulation (PWM) techniques. In this paper, it is shown that the presence of z-component currents and CMV in six phase driv...
متن کاملA Space Vector PWM Scheme for Three level Inverters Based on Two-Level Space Vector PWM
Multilevel inverters are increasingly being used in high-power medium voltage applications due to their superior performance compared to two-level inverters. Among various modulation techniques for a multilevel inverter, the space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) is widely used. The complexity is due to the difficulty in determining the location of the reference vector, the calculation of ...
